Associate reports, that prior to the end of year we expects a number of new graphic chips from AMD/ATI development .

For enthusiasts will be intended R680, which will be produced in the 55- nm technological process . in the number of its characteristics we have the support Of directX 10, technology crossfire, interface PCI express 2.0. In contrast to the present high end card , this solution will have a UVD support . The cards on base Of r680 will obtain HDMI with HDCP.

In the performance segment we expects the announcement of chips RV660/670 with the same characteristics, as R680, but with smaller quantity of standardized shader processors and memory system bus .

The possible release periods is January of 2008. The first engineering models will be obtained already during September in the present year.

The same periods are named for mass RV635, which will come as change for the RV630. Such GPU will be also produced on 55- nm technical process.
