Chipset for AMD platform do not require large functional update, the memory controller is build in the processor. NVIDIA have only to inject the support Of hyperTransport 3.0 in the near future. But here the absence of support to the hyperTransport 3.0 is not an obstacle for nForce 560 chipset to support the socket AM2+. Although Biostar used this chipset for the creation of motherboards with socket AM2+ support , MSI company on its motherboard K9N neo V3 uses the chipset nForce 560 with processor socket AM2. Today this motherboard appeared in Japanese stores.  According to the compatible processors list , this motherboard does not support the 125- watt version athlon 64 X2 6000+, and compatibility with 89- watt version is not determined. Now there is compatibility with 65 nm version athlon 64 X2 5200+ (2.7 GHz).  The presence of only one chipset microcircuit strongly simplifies the motherboard layout , and the moderate heat emission level allow the use of passive radiator. In Japan the motherboard MSI K9N neo V3 cost $94.
