In November last year, the first information about Intel Atom platform (Bay Trail-T) , designed for tablets. Then it was supposed to be released in 2014. Probably, the growing popularity of tablets was a good incentive to accelerate the development, so that by the summer of this year at Computex 2013 , Intel showed a reference design tablet for SoC Bay Trail-T running Android 4.2.2 and Windows 8. Platform developer has promised that products based on it will be available in winter holiday season this year.
SoC Bay Trail-T is optimized for tablets worth up to $ 150 and run on Windows 8.
At the same time will be available in four models: Z3770, Z3770D, Z3740 and Z3740D. All of them will be released on 22-nanometer technology. The structure will include quad-core SoC architecture for Silvermont, 2 MB cache second level, memory controllers and integrated graphics cores. The maximum clock frequency of the Z3770, Z3770D is 2.4 GHz, Z3740 and Z3740D - 1,8 GHz. Built-in dual-channel controllers without an index D models designed for the connection of up to 4 GB LPDDR3-1067 memory. Models equipped with an index of D single-channel DDR3L-1333 supports up to 2 GB of memory. The maximum screen resolution - 1920 x 1200 resolution, while models Z3770 and Z3740 supports a resolution of 2560 X 1600 pixels. The sDP value , characterizing the SoC power , in the case of Z3770 and Z3740 is 2 W, and in the case of Z3770D Z3740V - 2.2-2.4 watts. Related Products :
