AMD plans about the release of dual core processor athlon 64 X2 6400+ (3.2 GHz) appeared already from the previous month , But until now there was no documentary proofs about the existence of such processor. Situation was changed today, we succeeded in revealing the photograph of the processor athlon 64 X2 6400+ (3.2 GHz), and also its brief testing results . Let us first check the list of supported processors for the motherboard aSRock aLiveNF 5th eSATA2+. In this list we have the processor athlon 64 X2 6400+ with marking in the form ADX6400IAA6CZ on F3 stepping  . Its support was inculcated with 1.40 BIOS version , which was released on 21 May, 2007. Here is the processor copy , this is the athlon 64 X2 6400+ (3.2 GHz) witch was released in 23- th week 2007, which corresponds to first half of June. Marking allow to determine the processor characteristics  accurately: it has TDP equal to 125 W and it is based on F3 stepping  ,this processor is produced on 90 nm technology ( windsor core ) .Cache Volume in the second level is equal to 2 X 1 mb. Processor  tests were conducted in abit AN 9-32x motherboards , and using 2 X 1 Gb  memory DDR 2-1000 , as cooler we have arctic cooling freezer64 pro, and finally the video card used was the famous GeForce 8800 GTX. Let us examine the test results: CPUmark'99 - > 417 marks; Super PI 1M - > 27,593 seconds; Super PI 32M - > 24 minutes and 20,625 seconds; 3DMark'06 - > 10 796 points; PCMark'05 - > 7 449 points. Under load , the processor temperature reached 52 degree Celsius. Now we are sure that the processor athlon 64 X2 6400+ (3.2 GHz) actually exists....   Related Products :

	Does this CPU have unlocked multiplier?

	Sure , All high end processor has the unlocked multiplier . Why do u need the unlocked multiplier ??. 16x Is already more than enough for 250x16 (4000 Mhz with some serious cooling :-) )

	im trying to figure out how he got such low temps i idle at 65c with same cooler but running dual 8800 gtx in sli and i get shut down from heat

	I bought this procesor just a few days ago, mine is Black edition, I have a hyper TX2 cooler from cooler master and I have 30°C IDLE and loke 50°C under load. I have X2 HD3650 runing in crossfire and I don\'t get high temperatures, maybe you need a few more fans in your case.
