Sony has brought to the exhibition IFA new devices. In addition to the expected Xperia Z1 , it also presented the tablet Vaio Tap 11. An interesting fact is that the tablet is running Windows 8. It is known that the screen size is 11.6 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Display Triluminos made of IPS technology and supports pen input. The company has used technology N-Trig.
Another feature is a separate wireless keyboard, which is attached to the tablet with magnetic latches. The keyboard has its own battery, which is charged by the tablet and only serves to operate the keyboard directly, not being an extra battery for the tablet.
The heart of new items are Intel processors Haswell generations (from Pentium to Core i7). In addition the SSD capacity from 128 to 512 GB, and a rear camera resolution of 8 megapixel sensor with Exmor RS for PC. Also, the tablet has a full-size connector USB 3.0, memory card slot, Micro HDMI port and adapter WiDi. Similarly model Tablet Z, the device has an infrared port to control the TV.
Vaio Tap 11 is designed in a modern style (OmniBalance) and reminds Tablet Z . The company calls it the new thinnest tablet PCs running Windows 8. Case thickness Tap 11 is 9.9 mm with weight 780 g
The new tablet will be available in black and white version and will appear during the autumn.
