	Just imagine where Intel would be with their core duo CPUs if AMD could master 4.5Nm technology, Intel would be eating dust way behind.

	Even 45 nm or 32 nm technology will not help AMD, Don\'t forget that in average 65nm processor are slower (in memory controller timing and frequency) than 90 nm analog. AMD has to move with new architecture or at least they should optimize previous as in case of Barcelona processor ....

	everyone seems to forget that intel\'s only adavantage is the size of the on die cache and that is shared between the two cores. what would happen if amd gave there dual cores 4mb of l2 each

	how can the memory controller be an issue as amds memory controller is on the die and therefore can be matched to the processor itself. intels memory controller is of the die and cannot possibley match the efficiency of having the memory controller on the die

	More cache is always good , but there is no much deference between 1 mb and 4 mb , in most application (5-7%) ,but here deference between 512kb and 1mb is even larger (5-12%).
