Earlier this month, Intel has updated the range of processors LGA 2011, which include solutions for enthusiasts as well as for server hardware models with the micro Ivy Bridge. Now underwent a similar upgrade processors to be applied in the platform Crystal Forest Gladden, focused on communications equipment.
The new processors are based on the chip Ivy Bridge Gladden, which is a variant of the conventional mobile processor generation without integrated graphics. Solutions support industry-standard technologies such as Hyper-Threading and Virtualization, instructions SSE4 and AES. For models Core i3 and Xeon E3 is also characterized by support for VT-d and Trusted Execution. All processors use a DMI 2.0 interface for communication with the chipset Cave Creek, contain Hub PCI Express 3.0 and dual-channel memory controller.
Older models - Xeon E3-1105C v2 and Xeon E3-1125C v2 - differ among themselves only by the frequency (respectively 1.8 GHz and 2.5 GHz) and the TDP level (25W and 40W). The processors include four processing cores, 8 MB cache in the third level controller and DDR3-1600. The cost is $ 320, respectively, and $ 448. Dual-core processors and Pentium B925C Core i3-3115C only have 4 MB of L3 cache and DDR3-1333 controller, the frequency is 2.0 GHz and 2.5 GHz,and the TDP rate - 15 watts and 25 watts. Price of Core i3-3115C is $ 241.
