At the current moment the fastest processor series celeron on core Conroe- L is the model celeron 440 (2.0 GHz). In the end of August the prices of celeron 430 (1.8 GHz) and Celeron 420 (1.6 GHz) processors  were lowered. Possibly, Celeron 450 (2.2 GHz) will be presented on 21 October, but until the moment there are no references about it in official  intel road map . We already reported about the existence of engineering models Conroe- L, according to its characteristics it is the Celeron 460 (2.4 GHz). Such processors  were even noted in Chinese retail, and for sure they are intended for testing motherboard to compatibility with future celeron 4xx models  . One of such processors fell in the hands of xtremeSystems forum participant , which without delay installed it in the motherboard gigabyte on base of chipset nForce 680i SLI, and then cooled the processor using freon to minus 47 degree Celsius under load. Vcore was increased from 1.265 v to 1.77 v. The superPI tests series was possible at the frequency 4356 MHz or 4400 MHz. The coefficient 12x in this case was used with system bus frequency  363-367 MHz. The author of experiments asserts that the concrete processor copy has FSB wall at 410 MHz frequency . At 4400 MHz frequency the test superPI 1M was executed in 17.672 seconds. Good for processor witch cost less than $100.   Related Products :
