We already reported many time about asus company intention to present compact notebook series eee PC with cost from $200 to $370. First compact sizes, solid-state disk instead of HDD and obtainable price - this is signs of mobile entertaining devices, and Asus eee PC can be considered one of them. However, nothing interfere witn using this device for work or studies. It is completely natural that for Asus Eee PC immediately appeared enemies. Today with reference to Asus representatives , the company intends to present the second generation Asus eee PC during April 2008. These devices will not be based on 90 nm processors dothan, but on 65 nm processors merom with core architecture . Besides increase in the speed, this replacement promises a improvement in the efficiency: TDP will descend by 11w to 7 W. This will allow to forget about the active processor cooling system .  Asus expects to place only 200-300 thousand Eee PC in this year, but in the following asus plan to produce not less than three million notebook .
