ASUS is committed to developing tablet PCs Transformer, which is confirmed at MWC 2012 with the announcement of two devices . Â The new high end tablet Transformer Pad Infinity and Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700T.
Tablet retained the characteristic of Transformers features: a metal case and a docking station in a keyboard . Â Infinity has a 10.1-inch Super IPS + with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and is based on a hardware platform Tegra 3.
Computational core  SoC operate at a frequency of 1.6 GHz, which is slightly higher than the traditional platform.  There is 1 GB of RAM, 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory and battery with a capacity of 25 W · h  Also, the tablet will be available in a version based on SoC Snapdragon S4 with two cores Krait, clocked at 1.5 GHz.  Depending on the version,  Infinity will cost from $ 599 to $ 799. Â
Transformer Pad has an entry-level models, to indicate that ASUS uses code 300. Â These devices are based on Tegra 3 platform , but enclosed in a plastic case of greater thickness, less capacious battery, and the amount of built-in storage is limited to 16 GB. Â The screen has a standard for many Tablet 1280 x 800 pixels (10.1-inch IPS). Â All these simplifications reduced the price of Tablet Transformer Pad 300 to $ 399.
