iWatch is one of the most anticipated and at the same time mysterious Apple devices . And the network more and more information confirming that it will not just smart watches, and the device is capable to monitor the state of health and physical activity of the user.
According to the Chinese edition of EET-China, in the iWatch will be embedded sensors to track heart rate and blood oxygen levels. This will be used for optoelectronics and technology based on light detectors. Oxygenated hemoglobin absorbs more infrared light while unsaturated - pulls more visible red light radiation. But this method is not sufficiently accurate due to noise generated by external illumination.
It is noteworthy that Apple plans to collaborate with companies who have experience in the development of devices for non-invasive continuous monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation (oximetry sensors).
As for the possibility of measuring the level of blood sugar, the iWatch is unlikely to appear. This is due to the fact that now the data obtained noninvasively (bloodless) by, are not accurate and can not be used to diagnose the general state of the user. Related Products :
