One of the main update expected with intel x38 chipset, will become the support to technology XMP (Intel extreme memory profiles). This technology proposes an SPD expansions , which contain the overclocking profiles. Many memory module producers  supported intel initiative and announced their XMP modules  .
Corsair company proposes immediately three  DDR3 SDRAM versions modules with XMP. Those are:
- Corsair DOMINATOR TWIN3X2048-1800C7DFIN – the complete set of two giga-byte modules, designed for work with 1800 MHz  frequency : latency 7-7-7-20;
- Corsair TWIN3X4098-1600C7DHXIN – the complete set of two two-gigabyte modules, designed for work with 1600 MHz  frequency : latency 7-7-7-20;
- Corsair TWIN3X2048-1600C7DHXIN – Analogous to the previous complete set of two giga-byte modules.
All three new products will be supplied with the cooling system DHX, which includes four radiators. The recommended costs of the described complete sets will be $600, $900 and $500 respectively.
However, OCZ company declared only about one product:
- OCZ DDR3 PC 3-12800 Intel XMP ready titanium edition – the complete set made from a pair of giga-byte modules, designed for work with 1600 MHz frequency : latency 7-6-6-18.
However, We can not talk now about the wide accessibility of the described memory from Corsair and OCZ . Producers declare that they will show their proposals at the coming session IDF on the following week.
