Protocol USB 3.0 will have to increase the capacity of the most used system bus for computer connection with peripheral devices.
New protocol USB 3.0 received also the marketing name SuperSpeed, This last will guarantee the peak capacity, which reaches 4.8 Gbit/s, while contemporary USB 2.0 devices ensure only 480 Mbit/sec. This speed , for example, will allow to copy HD films with a 27 Gb to a portable disk in 70 seconds instead of the necessary today 15 minutes.
In the number of promising possibilities : the chosen channels for data transmission in both directions and the energy-economy is improved . As it is expected, that the physical signal contact in USB 3.0 will be made from copper and optical channels.
Let us note that the first working prototypes USB 3.0 equipment already exist, the series devices, which possess system bus USB 3.0, had to appear only in 2009-2010.
