Leading American astronomers, Dan Wertheimer and Seth Shostak , as reported by the publication ABC News, recently appeared before the relevant committee of the U.S. government in order to obtain additional funding for the program SETI, aimed at finding evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations in the universal radio.  According to them, the chances of finding those or other forms of life outside Earth reach 100%, and the first discovery in this area should be made in the next twenty years.  Assuming, of course, that the United States will generously provide funds to the respective needs.  Some enthusiasts efforts to help process the data on their computers, is clearly not enough. Interestingly, the authors of the report at the same time skeptical to the idea of the existence of contacts with extraterrestrial intelligence in the past.  Even the ancient Egyptians, according to Shostak, had sufficient level of technological development, to build their own pyramid.  In the end, he concluded, the fact of having contacts with extraterrestrial civilizations government of any country in the world has not been able to keep in strict confidence.   Related Products :
