Rumors of Japanese Fujitsu's intentions in varying degrees, to relieve themselves from the problems associated with the release of personal computers and laptops are for a long time, and the Chinese company Lenovo appears in the role of buyer. Just this week on Lenovo was a press release, the text of which indicated that the company is really looking for ways to cooperate in the development, production and sales of personal computers, but are not yet ready to talk about concrete steps in this field.
It reported only that any decisions taken will affect the activities of Fujitsu in the global market, not only in Japan, where the first of February all the "Computer Assets" brand concentrated under the control of Fujitsu Client Computing Limited subsidiary (FCCL). The Japanese manufacturer has been looking for a partner that would allow businesses to produce personal computers to grow on a global scale. In turn, the largest manufacturer of notebooks in Lenovo's face is not averse to further strengthen its position in the global market.
Fujitsu will continue to operate under its own brand. In addition, it is engaged in the development, production and technical support of its products. Apparently, Lenovo takes on the burden of marketing and logistics support partner in the global market. Negotiations between Lenovo and Fujitsu will continue, the parties are calculated not only on strategic cooperation, but also on the financial support from the Japan Development Bank (Development Bank of Japan).
