We've already got quite a lot of information about Intel processors next generation - 14 nm solutions codenamed Skylake.
So, it is expected that four version of product lines Skylake: for systems with ultra low consumption processors come out (SoC) with the letters U and Y, for productive mobile solutions and systems, all-in-one includes models with the letter H and the Desktop systems introduced the notation S. The first two series will include models with built-in logic Platform Controller Hub (PCH). The last two series require discrete logic, which will be connected via interface DMI 3.0. Compared with the current DMI 2.0 interface transfer rate will be increased to 8 giga per second. All processors Skylake get built dual-channel memory controller.
The composition of mobile processors economical series will include two processing cores. Y series processors will have integrated graphics GT2 class and TDP 4 watts. H-Series processors for high-performance laptops and all in one will get quad graphics GT2 or GT4e. In the latter case, the amount of internal memory will be 128 MB eDRAM , and the TDP value will increase from 35 watts to 45 watts. All H-Series processors are designed to work with DDR4 memory type with the frequency to 2133 MHz.
Desktop Processors Skylake series S, which can easily be the fastest - in the second quarter 2015, will have three basic configurations: dual core CPU with graphics GT2, with four cores and four GT2 graphics core graphics GT4 (GT4e) and built-in memory eDRAM 64MB. All configurations will have a version with a TDP of 35 watts and 65 watts. Older quad model will consume up to 95 peak watts. Memory controller S series models and can work with memory DDR3L/DDR3L-RS-1600, and memory DDR4-2133. Removable connector LGA 1151 will have only desktop model with index S, all other processors will be available in BGA package soldered on the motherboard.
