MSI Company , takes the correct steps on free and effective advertisement of its production. It reveals information about the new motherboards before the chipsets announcement . Yesterday appeared the description of motherboard MSI K9A2 platinum, which is based on AMD RD790 chipset . As is known, this high end AMD chipset will support socket AM2+ processors and as minimum two slots PCI express x16, which correspond to PCI express 2.0 specifications .  On the chipset logotype we can see the certain geometric figure, which resembles to a prism . Each new AMD products has their own logotype .  The motherboard MSI K9A2 platinum has four slots PCI express x16, which work on PCI express x16 + PCI express x16 or 4 X PCI express x8.  This motherboard is equipped with five-phase power system , with eight- sound channel , one gigabit port, six ports SATA-300, ten ports USB 2.0 and two firewire ports (IEEE 1394).
