Today AMD announced the immediate availability of development kits based on its first 64-bit processor with ARM architecture - Opteron A1100, which are also known under the codename Seattle.
Kits are designed for developers of hardware and software, which will subsequently be used in servers Skybridge. General characteristics Opteron A1100 solutions are as follows:
- 4 or 8 cores ARM Cortex-A57;
- up to 4 MB shared cache memory and 8MB of level - the third level;
- two channels of DDR3 memory or DDR4 with ECC support and speed megatransect 1866 per second;

Developer board based on processors Opteron A1100 manufactured in micro-ATX format and include:

- 8-port SATA 6 Gb / s;
- compatibility with standard power supply.
The board comes with associated software, including Red Hat Fedora Linux, Apache, MySQL and others. The cost of the kit is $ 2999.
