Transferring announcement of Haswell-E processors from mid-September to the 29th of August, of course, has brought about changes in the schedule of supply: . These serial copies are intended for collectors of finished computers, but in retail they inevitably fall in advance.
So, at this point processor Haswell-E is already found in one of two Moscow stores:
- Core i7-5960X (3.0 / 3.5 GHz)not only has eight cores, but also 20 MB cache in the third level;
- Core i7-5930K (3.5 / 3.7 GHz)is limited to six cores and 15 MB cache in the third level;
- Core i7-5820K (3.3 / 3.6 GHz)is also satisfied with six cores and 15 MB cache in the third level.
All three processors have the design of the LGA 2011-3, requiring a motherboard based on the Intel X99 chipset and memory modules DDR4. TDP level processors does not exceed 140 watts, and a free factor endowed with all three models. Note that the Core i7-5820K only supports 28 lines PCI Express, and not 40, like its older relatives - and this is due to a significant price difference. Although processors are already available, they will begin selling in September. In the future owners just have time to find a compatible motherboard to taste and set the memory type DDR4.
