AMD Company published its financial report about its activity in the third quarter 2007. Income within the period indicated was 1,632 billion dollars ; which 18% greater than in the second quarter and up to 23% higher than in the third quarter 2006. The operating loss (difference between company incomes  from the basic activity and the summary operating expenses) OF AMD within the accounting period was 226 mln. dollars. Let us recall, that a block back operating loss was equal to 457 mln. dollars. with income sum 1,378 billion dollars. In other words, the effect of ATI purchase still noticeable. There was an increase in gross range to 41% in comparison with 33% in the second quarter. Company notes that the increase is caused mainly by increase in the deliveries capacity of microprocessors , by increase in production efficiency and by production expansion . This block was Successful  for the basic company subdivision - Computing solutions, where the income grew by 17% and reached 1,283 billion dollars. Income from microprocessors sale grew by 19%, and in the quantitative expression it was dispatched up to 16% more processor than in the previous block. Let us note the noticeable increase in mobile processors segment 41% for the block, 68% in the year. The subdivision, occupied with graphical solutions release  , obtained 252 mln. dollars. income, up to 29% greater than in the previous block. The basis sales success was with graphic processors series ATI radeon HD 2000. Among the most noticeable events AMD called the release of the first in the world x86- compatible (unicore) processor quad-Core AMD opteron. Related Products :
