Intel will stop subsidizing their partners in the mobile segment of the market in order to reduce losses. Meanwhile, the giant is likely to continue to encourage its major clients like ASUS to save orders. Intel is offering generous subsidies, as well as assistance in marketing and technological issues for customers of its mobile processors. Offer giant extends not only to device manufacturers first-tier, but also on the unnamed Chinese company.
Sources believe that Intel will stop subsidizing small Chinese firms. Intel recently announced a new partnership with Tsinghua Unigroup, which, among other things, will promote the spread of processors giant in China. Thus, Intel is no longer necessary to interact with the Chinese partners directly.
ASUS is the largest Intel partner , using its processors in tablets and smartphones. As noted, this year alone, Intel ASUS ordered about 15 million mobile processors.
