Recently, it was reported that some users of 128-gigabyte iPhone models 6 Plus complain permanent shutdown and device reboot . Moreover, the majority of users claim that problems arise only when the number of applications installed over 700 pieces. And, according to Taiwanese publication DigiTimes, the problem may be lurking in the defective flash memory controllers.
According to sources, publications BusinessKorea, cause malfunctions iPhone 6 Plus is a three-level controller flash memory, which are cheaper than single-level (SLC) and multi-level (MLC) cells and inferior to them in the speed of reading and writing data. Using TLC NAND 128-gigabyte version in the iPhone 6 Plus has allowed Apple to cut costs. However, experts, which refers to DigiTimes, believe that the use TLC NAND in the iPhone 6 Plus is aimed at reducing costs and these chips before installing passed very strict testing procedure.
I must say that Apple has not commented on the problem of iPhone 6 Plus failures.
