WD has celebrated the anniversary: My Passport drive is 10 years old. They presented a new model drives My Passport Ultra Metal Edition and My Passport Ultra Anniversary Edition.  The drives are made in the metal case of compact size (80 * 110 * 13.5 mm), equipped with a USB 3.0 interface and have two options volume - 1 and 2 TB. File system - NTFS. New items are equipped with proprietary software SmartWare Pro, with which you can organize the automatic backups. The program has built-in support for Dropbox and allows you to synchronize account details with devices line My Passport. Along with them was presented a wireless external hard drive My Passport Wireless.  The drive, in addition to Wi-Fi, and is equipped with a SD card slot and an interface USB 3.0. The dimensions of the plastic case - 86 * 127 * 21.8 mm. Inside, according to unofficial data, the HDD 5200-5400 r / min speed performance - up to 100-120 MB / s for reading and up to 70-90 MB / s for write operations.
