In 3DMark'06, with default setting and Athlon 64 X2 6400 + processor and 2 GB memory , the Radeon HD 3870 will be slightly faster than Radeon HD 2900 XT and Radeon HD 3850 will be about 10% slower then Radeon HD 2900 XT. According to the gaming tests results it becomes clear that the Radeon HD 3870 may compete with Radeon HD 2900 XT, sometimes it lead with  10-20%.   Related Products :
