Due to many economic factors Nehalem dual-core processors with integrated memory controller will appear in the average price ranges in 2009. Their quad predecessors  will be present in the market since 2008, but only in the upper price range,.
To move to masses Nehalem architecture intel will require a  more compact and cheaper core. . Associate published its forecast for the expansion rate of processor architecture Nehalem in massive price segments. Note that Penryn CPU will coexist for a long period with Nehalem, meeting the needs of economical users .
Traditionally, Intel has the following processors core for different price segments:
- More than 200 k mm; enthusiasts segment  ;
- From 140 to 200 k mm; productive segment;
- From 110 to 140 k mm; massive segment;
- Less than 110 k mm; budget segment.
Gradually reducing the core area with new technology standards, Nehalem processors and their successors will be available in many price segments.
So, Nehalem dual-core processors with integrated graphical core within 45 nm technological area will have  200 ê.ìì core area . Only in 2010, after moving to 32 nm process they will be able to appear in the mass segment.
Dual core Nehalem without graphical core will appear in the massive price ranges in 2009 year , within 45 nm technology. With the transition to 32 nm process in 2010, they can claim a place in the budget segment. The first Nehalem processors with integrated graphical core will be obtained through the glue of crystals in the same package.
At the current rate, quad processors will be in budget sector in 2012-2013 year , 8 core processors will be made  in 2014.
