Intel has decided to introduce a new system model designation for Atom processors . Like the members of the Core family , they will now be divided into three groups, in proportion to the performance level : Atom x3, Atom x5 and Atom x7. On the one hand, it will isolate the Atom processors from Core, Celeron and Pentium. On the other hand, this will create some internal hierarchy.
Between Atom processors and Core i3 / i5 / i7 processors will settle Core M, which should combine a high performance level with low power consumption. They will be used in the transformable devices and expensive tablet, as well as so-called Ultrabooks. Related Products :
