South Korean company Samsung has won a major order for production of A9 processor for the next generation iPhone. According to knowledgeable sources, Samsung will produce A9 processor at its plant in South Korea. It is worth noting that now the production A8 processor for iPhone and iPhone 6 6 Plus is engaged in the Taiwanese company TSMC. Spokesman Samsung, Apple, TSMC and Globalfoundries Inc declined to comment, citing the fact that they do not discuss relations with its industrial partners.
