According to AppleInsider, the head of Foxconn Terry Gou said that he pushed Apple choosing TSMC as a manufacturer of mobile processors, because Taiwanese companies, he said, must stand together against the "Korean wave". What is the share of orders for the production of A9 received TSMC, he did not elaborate. According to one version, TSMC has received an order of 30%, and 70% went to Samsung.
