We already reported this week that AMD lowered the price of Phenom processors family and in January AMD will reduce the prices of some single and dual processors. Yesterday we got further details on the upcoming lower prices, as you know, it touches K8 processor generation . In addition, in 20 January Wolfdale processors from Intel company will offer higher performance on the old prices and for this AMD should be ready. Here is the list of AMD processor models that are in the price of the seventh January in next year. The price drop will occur just before Christmas. This will be a unique gift to all AMD products fans .  So expensive dual-core processors Athlon 64 X2 4200 + (2.2 GHz), Athlon 64 X2 4400 + (2.3 GHz), Athlon 64 X2 4800 + (2.5 GHz), Athlon 64 X2 5000 + (2.6 GHz), Athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz), as well as the Athlon 64 X2 5000 + Black Edition and Athlon 64 X2 6400 + Black Edition remain . 6400 + model appears on the list twice, it exists in two version . The single processor models Athlon LE-1620 (2.4 GHz), Sempron LE-1150 (2.0 GHz) and Sempron LE-1200 (2.1 GHz) will remain. The most expensive senior dual processors will loose only a few dollars.
