The idea of creating a modular smartphone Project Ara had to run in practice in Puerto Rico, as there are many smartphone users - 75% of network traffic is generated by mobile devices.  Mobile shops had to offer local residents smartphones, in the literal sense of the word built to order of the necessary client modules.  Such an arrangement, in addition to improving the maintainability of the device must be capable of gradual smartphone modernization  .  Over time, it would be possible to add memory to deliver faster processor or install a display with higher resolution.
