As it became known on October 26 someone Dickey Tony filed against AMD's class-action lawsuit in US District Court of Northern California. The lawsuit was registered under the number 5: 15-cv-04922-PSG. In addition to the said citizen signed the document a few comrades. In court, the plaintiffs will be law firm Edelson PC. In the lawsuit, AMD charged that when promoting processors Bulldozer architecture it introduced misleading customers by providing them with false information. As a result, AMD accused of false advertising and unauthorized receipt of benefits. The plaintiffs are asking for justice.
Architecture AMD Bulldozer, as we all well know, is a modular structure, where part of the resources is divided between the two cores. Nevertheless, AMD calls this dual module. According to the complainant, such a structure can not be called a dual-core, because there is no simultaneous execution of instructions in two cores .
