As you know, Windows XP is not officially supported since last year, and Vista will be supported until April 11, 2017.
Originally it was planned that support will end in the spring of this year, but then extended period. Now the search giant decided definitively - Support for Chrome on XP and Vista finally completed in April 2016. Also on this day stop supporting the browser for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8.
Also note that Windows XP today are 11% of the users, and Vista - 2%, while their number decreases. Given the aggressive marketing policy of Microsoft's upgrade to Windows 10, it seems logical and may be indicative of some kind of agreement between the software companies. In other words, it may be an additional incentive to go on Windows 10 or at least Windows 7 / 8.1.
