Asus Company originally proposed the support of 45 nm Intel processors using motherboard on base of chipset Intel P965. Not each producer could with the entire responsibility state that its motherboard on the base of chipset Intel P965 ensure compatibility with Wolfdale and Yorkfield processors. Gigabyte will soon propose to the owners of motherboard series 965P the new bios versions , which ensure compatibility with 45 nm Intel processors ( LGA 775 ). Now these bios versions are under test , but chance to find compatibility with Penryn generation processors exists in motherboard models Ga -p965-dq6, Ga-p965- d, Ga -p965-ds3, Ga -p965-ds3p. Note , that motherboard are released in several revisions, having at the present time reached the version 3.3. This means that motherboard of early revisions can have limitations on compatibility with 45 nm Intel processors . | ||
