In 2005 we learned, that Intel begins to prepare lithograph for the production of 32 nm processors. The first generation of nehalem processors will be released on 45 nm technology, but in 2009-2010 for change will arrive the 32 nm processors westmere. At the end of 2010 will appear the 32 nm processors sandy bridge, with its new architecture.
Let us recall that the EUV- lithograph allow to use a light with wavelength 13,5 nm against the present 193 nm, and this is a major step for creating more compact transistors. Yesterday AMD company reported about its successes in the mastery of EUV- lithograph . In previous models this technology was used only on the small microcircuit parts , and was now it is completely processed microcircuit with 22 X 33 mm sizes.
Further AMD plans to use EUV- lithograph for creating all microcircuit slot. It is expected that up to 2016 the full-scale EUV- lithograph will be inculcated in the production of 22 nm processors. Related Products :
