AMD Company declared about the release of advanced chipset with integrated graphic processor (IPG), which received the designation : AMD 780G. This product is intended for enthusiasts , gamer and multimedia entertainments, in combination with four core AMD processors phenom 9000 or dual core athlon 64 X2.  Motherboard on the base of AMD 780G is the key element for desktop platforms cartwheel and mobile puma, which will start in the second quarter. The special features of AMD 780G is the support of directX 10 technologies , ATI hybrid graphics technology (the combination of built-in graphic system and discrete video card), AMD overdrive (simple user interface, which ensures access to performance setting).  Built-in graphic processor in AMD 780G support high resolution video , including VC-1, MPEG-2 and H.264 using the technology AMD unified video decoder (UVD). Supported interfaces includes DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI.  For the first time , IGP- chipset is produced according to 55- nm standards , which ensures small energy consumption and heat emission. ASUS, ASRock, Colorful, DFI, ECS, Foxconn technology group, Gigabyte, J&W, MSI, Onda, PCPartner, Sapphire, Shuttle computer group, SOYO, Speedway, SUPoX, Universal bit, Unika and Yestonon stated about their intention to release product on base of AMD 780G .
