Four core processor phenom X4 will be transferred in the more energetically economical versions with TDP level not more than 95 W. In order to solve the compatibility problems with motherboard on base of chipset AMD 780G. Many Motherboards (780_) simply cannot work with processors which have a TDP value equal to 125 W. According to AMD representatives : motherboard on base of chipset AMD 780G was never intended for processors with TDP level 125 W. For high-end processors phenom X4 AMD released motherboard on base of chipset 790FX. Those desiring to exploit phenom X4 9750 (2.4 GHz) processor in motherboard on base of chipset AMD 780G will obtain this possibility in the current block . In addition, the first 45 nm processors models with four cores will have also a TDP not more than 95 W. | ||
