Huawei Technologies plans by 2020 to increase its revenues to $ 150 billion. This was reported by Taiwanese trade publication DigiTimes referring to the founder and CEO of Huawei Ren Zhenfey.
Zhenfey Rehn said that by 2020, annual revenues Huawei should reach $ 150 billion. At the same time to spend on research and development work (R & D) it plans to order 10% of revenues. Thus, Huawei's expenditures in R & D in the coming years will be $ 10-20 billion. For comparison, in 2015 it spent $ 9 billion for this purpose.
It is noted that about 70% of the budget for R & D Huawei uses to finance the development of new products, while the remaining 20-30% are directed to research and innovation. At the moment Huawei has a total of 80 thousand employees around the world, engaged in R & D.
