NVIDIA Corporation has decided to accuse a competitor of distorting the results of testing of Tesla and Xeon Phi accelerator.
According to NVIDIA, the competitor used the older version of Caffe AllexNet test, which has a half years. The latest version of the software allows to get the four accelerators based on Maxwell advantage of 30% compared with the Xeon Phi. A four-generation accelerator Pascal increase the lead to 90%. If we take the NVIDIA DGX-1 system with eight accelerators Tesla P100 memory type HBM2, it is five times faster than four Xeon Phi.
Furthermore, NVIDIA has evidence that a system based on the graphics processing performance of its production is scaled almost linearly with increasing amounts of GPU 128 pieces. Related Products :
