Apple is preparing to release a new generation iPad, which will be based processor A10X.
A10X processor TSMC will be manufactured by Taiwan's new 10-nanometer process technology. This is supported by the information in the summary of one Apple employees. Apple Specialist argues that participated in the creation of the graphic controller for the tablet, which will replace the iPad Pro processor-based A9X.
Earlier, an analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities said that TSMC will be the exclusive manufacturer of the new processor A10X. Now TSMC is responsible for producing the chip A10 Fusion, installed in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It includes a quad-core processor and is made on 16-nanometer process technology FinFET.
