BenQ has expanded its range of products sold under the sub-brand Zowie and intended for players new monitor called Zowie XL2540. New devicefocus primarily on professional players (eSport), as well as for fans of the genre MOBA games and other popular online games.
Zowie XL2540 monitor is built on a 24.5-inch TN panel type with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the main feature of which is the high refresh rate, which is equal to 240 Hz. This update frequency is perfect for games with high frames per second value. This panel is also characterized by a contrast of 1000: 1 (dynamic contrast ratio of 12 million to 1), brightness of 400 cd / m², a response time of 1 ms (GtG), and viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically.
The monitor can operate in several modes, each of which is optimized for a particular genre of games. Note and Black eQualizer function that highlights the dark areas of the displayed image, which can help, for example, with the search for enemies lurking in online shooters, like CS: GO. Finally, we should mention that Zowie XL2540 supports technologies to reduce the intensity of the blue lights and eliminate flicker, which reduces the load on the user's eyes.
