New York-based consultancy World Brand Lab released a list of 500 most influential brands in 2016. Topping the list is the American company Apple. The most influential brand outgoing, Apple Corporation has been recognized.
The top ten most influential brands in 2016 according to the World Brand Lab:
1. Apple;

3. Amazon;
4. Microsoft;
5. Coca-Cola;
6. Facebook;
7. Mercedes-Benz;
8. Walmart;
9. General Electric;
10. McDonald's.
Just a list of the most influential brands on the World Brand Lab version of the outgoing year includes 500 companies from 28 countries. Approximately half of the brands represented in the list - American. To be precise, the brands of the United States won 227 of 500 seats. More 36 places in the ranking went to Chinese brands, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, ICBC), China Central Television (China Central Television, CCTV), Tencent,
Haier, China Mobile, Huawei and Lenovo. Brands like Chipotle, Texas Instruments, General Dynamics, Vanke, China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC) and China Taiping, entered the ranking for the first time World Brand Lab.
