Intel company attempts to add in their integrated chipsets directX 10 support . This functional possibility had to be assigned to chipset intel g35. The official chipset version, waited for special drivers in order to speak about directX 10 support . It was assumed that such drivers will be released in the first quarter of the present year.
Today we are counting the last hours of the first quarter, and it is possible to tell about the absence of directX 10 support for g35 intel chipset . DirectX 10 support for chipsets Intel g35, GM965 and GL960 will appear with drivers version 15.9, which will be released in the end of April. In the case with GM965 and GL960 mobile chipsets directX 10 support will be partial. New drivers will bring decoding acceleration on algorithms AVC, VC1, MPEG2, and they will also ensure support to the function nonlinear anamorphic scaling. Mobile chipsets will obtain the more advanced energy-saving functions and operating modes with several displays. The announcement of drivers version 15.9 is planed for after 24 April 2008. | ||
