In mid-March, industry sources said that Surface Book 2 has already entered mass production and will be announced at a special Microsoft event in March or April.   Sources referenced by the publication GSMArena , said that the laptop Surface Book 2 will not be presented at the spring presentation of Microsoft.  Perhaps, instead of it, Microsoft announced Surface Pro 5 this spring. And when the second-generation Surface Book appears on the market, sources have not been informed. Surface Book 2 will replace the original hybrid Surface Book, which debuted in October 2015 along with Surface Pro 4. The new laptop will be equipped with a 13.5-inch display and case made of a magnesium alloy with aluminum.  It will go on sale at a price of $ 1000, while the cost of the Surface Book of the first generation starts at $ 1499.
