Released in October 2015, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet computer will soon receive a successor. Surface Pro 5, as PhoneArena writes, will receive a new processor, and in the rest it will not be much different from its predecessor.
Windows expert Paul Thurrott said Surface Pro 5 will be based on the Intel Kaby Lake processor. This, according to Terroth, will be the only major change. The new chip, made on a 14-nanometer process, will make the Surface Pro 5 faster than its predecessor and will provide it with a long battery life.
Surface Pro 5 will save the Surface Connect port and count on the appearance of the USB Type-C interface. The remaining technical characteristics of the new Microsoft tablet are not yet known to us, as well as the date of its official announcement.
