In February, we could be sure that the Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg , who had tucked under his wing Oculus VR, clearly did not consider the Oculus Touch manipulators to be perfect, and ideally would like to see the management of virtual world objects with the help of hands - at least in special gloves. Moreover, in this desire there is nothing new: trying to break into the digital entertainment market, the first helmets of virtual reality in the mid-nineties of the last century also used gloves to manipulate the objects of the virtual world.
Now, as Tom's Hardware resource notes, Oculus VR is trying to supply glove handlers with tactile feedback. One of Oculus VR patent applications describes a method of implementing such a system through elements with different rigidity fixed on the user's hand. Like most patents, this idea is not yet guaranteed for practical implementation, but gives some idea of developments direction carried out by Facebook experts.
