For a month, analysts and sources say that in 2017, Apple will release not two, but three new smartphones. This fall, along with the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, rumored to be the anniversary iPhone 8. But a source at Foxconn claims that we will not see the iPhone 8 this year.
The source, referenced by the portal Fudzilla , said that Foxconn received an order for the production of only two new models: the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus. IPhone 8 is not among them. And since Foxconn is a longtime partner and the main contract collector for Apple's mobile devices, it's unlikely that Apple has entrusted the release of the iPhone 8 to another manufacturer.
It is noted that Foxconn will begin receiving packaging materials for the new iPhone in late June.
Let's add that the iPhone 8 was supposed to be the first smartphone Apple with OLED-display. According to sources, could get a glass case with a steel frame, a dual main camera, a built-in fingerprint scanner and support for wireless charging.
