Some time ago we reported that VIA plans to use NVIDIA chipsets to create a new platform, capable of completing with Centrino atom. As we could be convinced , notebooks producers manifest interest in VIA processors with the creation of compact economical devices . Today appeared supplemental details about  NVIDIA and VIA collaboration plans . This platform was called  VN (V= Via , N= Nvidia). VIA will use in this platform the processors  C7 and CN (Isaiah) generations, and NVIDIA will use the integrated chipsets with directX 10 support and video decoding hardware acceleration . The cost of motherboard with processor will be equal to $45, which is completely regular. According to preliminary evaluations, VIA isaiah processors will a obtain comparable speed level to Pentium M and Celeron M (at the same frequency).  VN platform will be able to obtain Windows vista premium certificate  . Products on base of VN platform will appear in the first quarter of 2009. HP company can if necessary replace the notebook model 2133 processors VIA by Intel atom. Now preference is with VIA product ( since it is already accessible ) and HP attempts to sell as much as possible notebook before the beginning of summer . Related Products :
