Almost month ago S3 graphics company declared about the release of its new graphic adapter chrome 430 GT;  Associate tested this graphic card using the chipset Intel x38 with Intel processor core 2 Duo (2,66 GHZ) and 2 GB DDR 2-800 memory, working under Windows XP SP2 (32- bit version). Perhaps, the most interesting results are 3DMark'06 and most demanding today game ( crysis ). In synthetic tests , the overclocked to frequencies 860/500 MHz (core/memory) chrome 430 GT is slower than NVIDIA Geforce 8500 GT by 20%:  But here under real game chrome 430 GT was almost equal to the Geforce 8500 GT:
It is clear that this adapter is not intended for games. However, S3 Graphics with 430 GT chrome release, attempt to return to the graphic market . Related Products : | ||
