HP has updated its 11.6-inch notebook based on Google Chrome OS operating system. The technology, called G5 Reputation: 11 HP Chromebook, available in several configurations, including the touch screen. The cost of the notebook starts from a very low level of - $ 189.
G5 Chromebook 11 is the first laptop on the Chrome OS from HP, which is equipped with a touch screen that according to developers. Recall that Google is actively working on the implementation of this feature in many notebooks on Chrome OS.
Novelty is equipped with 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, while the laptop is based on the processor Intel Celeron N3060 (generation Braswell) with two cores at a frequency of 1.6-2.48 GHz. Depending on the configuration, Chromebook 11 G5 can be equipped with 2 or 4 GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of solid-state memory, respectively.
G5 version Chromebook 11 with touch screen weighs about 1185 grams, and, according to the manufacturer, is able to work from the built-in battery up to 11 hours. In turn, the version with the usual display, weighs about 1140 grams, and it can work autonomously to 12.5 hours. Regardless of the version, the notebook has a 18.3 mm thick and is equipped with a module Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2, has two ports USB 3.1, video output HDMI 1.4, 3.5-mm audio jack and a slot for memory cards microSDXC.
