Associate recently reported that 55 nm video chip G92b will appear not only in mobile, but also in desktop segment, and the video card geForce 9800 GT can become its first possessor.
Associate introduced more clarity about the nearest NVIDIA plans . First, during May this company will release the video card geForce 9600 GSO, which was already proposed under geForce 8800 GS. The quantity of stream processors will be reduced to 96 pieces, and the memory system bus will become 192- bit. Basic GeForce 9600 GSO competitor will become the Radeon HD 3830. Video card producers will obtain the GeForce 9600 GSO chips for $50-55 per piece. During July, g92 chip will be transferred on 55 nm technical process : g92b. On base of this chip NVIDIA will represent the video card geForce 9900. We can assume that products on base of GT200 chip will be have another designation. | ||
